  1. The Meter is a control from the Model menu.
  2.  
  3. The meter shows the relationship of an input value to specified maximum and minimum values. You set the maximum and minimum values through the dialog, or by connecting other blocks, such as a Constant block, to the top and bottom input connectors on the Meter. Connected values override dialog values.

  5. Dialog Choices
  6. Display current value: The value input from the middle input connector.
  7.  
  8. Maximum: The upper limit against which the input will be compared.
  9.  
  10. Minimum: The lower limit against which the input will be compared.
  11.  
  12. Connectors
  13. The top input connector is the maximum value; it overrides the dialog value.
  14.  
  15. The bottom input connector is the minimum value; it overrides the dialog value.
  16.  
  17. The middle input connector is the value being compared to the limits; it is displayed on the icon.
